One puzzle that is still, er, puzzling Baldur’s Gate 3 players seems to be the Chamber of Justice puzzle. Here, you get the chance to be pretty much the judge, jury, and executioner but if you get it wrong, then you will have an unnecessary fight on your hands that you could well do without.

The Chamber of Justice puzzle is one of the Wyrmway trials that you must get through below Act 3’s Lower City.

Chamber of Justice puzzle

The first thing to be wary of when you arrive at the location of the puzzle is not to set any traps off.

As you enter the Chamber you will notice a statue in the middle of the room that has a Darkness curse swirling around it. We first need to get rid of that. You will also notice that there are paintings on the walls that tell the tale of an apple thief who has been caught and must now face punishment. Guess who it is who needs to mete that out.

Covered by the curse near the Judge’s statue in the center are three more paintings that you can’t make out until you remove the cursed darkness.

If you are ahead of the game here you will have purchased a Remove Curse scroll, or one of your party needs to have Remove Curse or Dispel Magic in their spellcasting inventory.

Use it and now you will be able to look at the three new paintings which will depict a cell, freedom, and a hanging.

You need to choose the correct punishment for the thief by selecting the painting and putting it in the empty niche.

Choose the Cell because this dude needs to go to prison. Letting him free would be wrong and send the wrong message to thieves everywhere, whereas hanging him is a tad overkill don’t you think?

If you place the wrong painting you will need to fight. It’s not overly tough but still best avoided. Completing the trial will open up the final room of the Wyrmway

News that Call of Duty’s next crossover collaboration would be with Bethesda Softworks’ Fallout franchise leaked by datamine about three weeks ago. Now it’s official, and a blog post Tuesday from Infinity Ward has more on what that looks like and what players can expect.

Let’s start with the day Call of Duty X Fallout arrives: It’s Thursday, June 20, and kicks off a Fallout: Vault Dwellers Event across Modern Warfare III, Warzone, and Warzone Mobile that lasts until 11 a.m. EDT on June 26.

The skins include the blue-and-metallic gold trimmed vault suits, for Vault 141 (which, so far, does not exist in the Fallout canon). Yes, the operators wear Pip-Boys, and there’s even some-kind of in-game functionality to them.

Here’s everything players get in the Fallout Bundle:

Four “Vault 141” Operator Skins
“Atomic Disintegrator” HRM-9 Weapon Blueprint
“Vault-Tec Approved” M16 Weapon Blueprint
“Let’s Do This!” and “Fatman” Charms
“Wasteland Workshop” Calling Card
“You’re Special” Large Decal
“Vault-Tec Engineer” Emblem
“Nuka-Cola Spacer” Sticker
Six Loading Screens including “Nuka-Cola,” “Please Stand By,”“Survivors’ Journey,” “Sanctuary Hills,” “Vault 141,” and “Restoring Democracy”

How much does Call of Duty’s Fallout bundle cost?

Though the blog post did not mention its official price, if past practice holds it’ll run 2,400 CoD points, which can be bought for about $20.

As for what the weapons do, Infinity Ward said the M16 blueprint offers “an unrivaled combination of speed and stability,” plus a mod that converts it to a fully automatic rifle “with superior recoil control and firing aim stability.” It’s accompanied by a 45 round magazine with two attachments, apparently the forward grip and a laser sight.

The HRM-9 is a close-quarters submachine gun weapon packing a 50-round drum magazine “plus thermal target identification.” It sounds like it has longer range than the game’s standard SMG, giving it “the ability to compete out to the mid-range.”

Using the Vault Dweller skins during the event will confer an XP boost. Players can also earn additional cosmetic items such as decals, emblems, and weapon camouflages with references to Nuka-Cola, the New California Republic, and canonical markers of the Fallout universe.

Call of Duty Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III are both available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Call of Duty Mobile is available for Android and iOS devices.

Apple is reportedly stopping work on its next Vision Pro headset as analysts and supply chain partners have flagged slowing sales of the current device.

According to The Information, the technology giant is halting plans for the second-generation high-end model but is working on a cheaper alternative.

The publisher reports speaking with insiders involved in the supply and manufacturing of the headsets who say a more affordable Vision product will be released before the end of 2025.

It’s expected this new version will have fewer features and will be sold at a lower price point, tipped to be around the $1500 mark. A big decrease from the $3,499 entry point of the original Vision Pro.

Apple hasn’t commented on the report.

Apple’s Vision Pro has struggled to make it into the mainstream market

With its high price tag, Apple has struggled to penetrate the mainstream market. By creating a cheaper model, the interest in the headset could grow.

Back in January, around 180,000 Vision Pro headsets had been sold on the first pre-order weekend.

Another analyst predicted the trillion-dollar company had taken between 160,000 and 180,000 orders for its new launch. And while those are hefty numbers, it marked a very slow start in comparison to what the company is normally used to.

While there was an initial burst of excitement in the lead-up to release, some reviews haven’t been so favorable in the months since.

In one report, the device was described as being a work in progress that “you’re probably not going to buy.”

It hasn’t been a cheap product for the company to create either, as research claims each device costs a whopping $1,500 to manufacture.

This was found to be considerably more than other wearables which could explain the price point of the device.

The short-form video app TikTok has launched ‘Symphony,’ a creative content suite that is powered by generative AI. The most prominent feature is the video generation tool which can create short clips from an existing asset or a product URL.

The new suite is aimed towards marketers and content creators on the app as they hope it’ll simplify the creative process and blend human imagination with the possibilities of artificial intelligence.

In the offering, there’s the Symphony Assistant, Symphony Creative Studio, Symphony Digital Avatars, and optimizations in TikTok Ads Manager.

What is the Symphony AI from TikTok?

The Symphony Creative Studio is the most adventurous tool out of the suite as it can do all the work of creating a TikTok video itself.

With this, people can insert a product URL or import an existing asset, and then the AI engine will spit out a range of custom video previews to choose from.

The script can be turned into a voiceover which can then be dubbed into multiple languages to help the video have global appeal.

While this does much of the legwork for creators, their audience will know about it as all videos created using the feature will be automatically labeled as being AI-generated.

Chatbot assistant, digital avatars, and more AI into TikTok

With the introduction of the suite, users will have to say goodbye to the old ‘Creative Assistant’ feature as this has evolved into the new ‘Symphony Assistant.’

The AI-powered virtual assistant has a very similar design to the ChatGPT interface and is described by the company as being a guide that can help you “through the TikTok creative landscape, helping you to brainstorm ideas, implement best practices, identify trends, and find inspiration.”

Much like the other AI chatbots, the new tool requires a prompt to get the ideas flowing. This could be anything from ‘Show me what’s trending on TikTok’ to ‘Show me top-performing ads in the industry.’

It’s currently available in English, Spanish, German, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Thai, Japanese, Bahasa Indonesian, and Chinese, with more languages to be supported in the future.

Once users are into the content creation process, moving on from the first steps, the ability to create a custom avatar is now a reality.

This means brands can create their own digital avatars with their brand IP, spokesperson, or a partnered creator. For accounts with a face already at the helm of the business, the avatar can be leveraged to their own likeness.

Again, multi-lingual avatars can be created with the aim of expanding global reach.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is undoubtedly one of the most exciting DLCs ever created. Anything adding to the experience of the base game was always going to be a solid experience but Shadow of the Erdtree appears to just knock it out of the park.

One tweak to keep players from being overpowered in the new content is a new leveling system which aims to ensure things are on a more even playing field, even if you have pumped hundreds of hours into the Lands Between.

Here, we’ll explain the new Shadow of the Erdtree leveling system including how to level up in this brand-new Elden Ring DLC.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree leveling system explained

In Shadow of the Erdtree, while the traditional leveling through Runes is still very much a thing, there has been another layer added on top, allowing those who have hit the soft caps or simply can’t gather enough Runes to enhance their characters, to add more protection.

This new layer is called Scadutree Blessing and can be upgraded to bolster both your damage negation as well as enhancing your attack power.

Once you increase your Scadutree Blessing number, you can see these upgrades on the right side of your stats screen, highlighted in gold, so you know exactly what has been enhanced.

Image via @GenePark on X

The caveat to this new leveling system is that it is only in effect within the new DLC area. Once you leave any of the DLC locations and head back into the Lands Between, your stats will revert back to their normal levels.

How to level up in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

The way you increase your Scadutree Blessing is through Scadutree Fragments which are acquired through playing through the DLC.

To be more specific, you can acquire these Scadutree Fragments via visiting hornsent statues, defeating certain tough enemies, and even bosses, so make sure you’re exploring every part of the Shadow Realm.

Once you secure yourself some Fragments, simply head to a Grace and level up within.

There is also the Revered Spirit Ash Blessings system which increases the power of summons and Torrent, but this isn’t technically adding more power to your actual character.

You may well never have heard of Echo Generation, in which case, you are welcome. Unlocking in just a few hours time is Echo Generation: Midnight Edition and you are going to buy it and you are going to enjoy it. The reason? Because it’s great.

The 90’s -inspired voxel turn-based adventure manages to be both enthralling and casual in equal measure. It originally came out on console formats back in 2021, but this new Midnight Edition will also finally come to Steam later today and features plenty of new quality-of-life mechanics such as fast travel, a quest tracker, and better combat and camera controls.

The best way to describe Echo Generation is, and this will make sense when you watch the trailer below, a mix of Stranger Things and Minecraft, but that’s only because of the voxel graphics.

The whole atmosphere of the game is great and the turn-based movement works really, really well.

The 80s/90s vibe it gives off blends well with the JRPG style of turn-based gameplay and makes that genre of game accessible to a whole new audience.

If you are expecting a game that will hand-hold you to the end, this is not it, but even with that said, it still somehow manages to capture a casual air that will keep you playing for longer than you ever intended to when you booted it up. And that can only be a good thing.

Check out Echo Generation: Midnight Edition when it launches on Steam in a few hours time.

What’s new in Echo Generation Midnight Edition?

In addition to the base game, Midnight Edition includes quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes and more:

Fast travel
Quest tracker (Journal)
Combat updates – Balancing and new status effects
New camera controls – Tilt and zoom
12 new languages
Controller support for Xbox and PlayStation
Steam achievements

Yesterday we were one of the first spots on the internet to bring you the news that Paradox Interactive had canceled the highly-anticipated life sim Life By You after pulling it from going into Early Access at the last minute.

It was a bit of a shock announcement considering it was one of the games many people were looking into in 2024 and you can read the Paradox statement and reasons for the shelving to catch up should you need to.

Losing your job is never easy and there is always there part where you want to hit out at your former employers, but in a heartfelt post on LinkedIn, one of the Life By You devs has spoken out about the goings on in the last few weeks and it raises yet more questions about the decision.

It is important to note that William Delventhal says he was warned against speaking out as it may hurt his future career or even that legal action could be taken against him – he does not say who made these suggestions but is clear he has chosen to ignore them.

Delvanthal posted, “I’ve known for some time that we might be getting shut down. We were actively working on a hyper-moddable life sim called Life By You. An indie answer to the aging IP is the Sims but instead focuses heavily on UGC.

And as far as it goes, we were doing *extremely well.*

I cannot share specific numbers, but I can say that we had an internal metric we were aiming for that had been approved and that we exceeded that number by a significant portion. We also got a thumbs-up a few weeks before launch.”

Launch delayed

“Then two weeks before launch, we were told we wouldn’t be launching. And just now that we’ve all lost our jobs. We were only informed of this via a public announcement.”

This would all seem to tie in with yesterday’s sudden announcement from Paradox Interactive who have also not been flavor of the month with many gamers of late.

He continued, “We were not told why. Instead, we spent a month in purgatory and did everything we could to prove to them we were worth launching, including things like finding potential buyers or suggesting cutting ties and going indie. We heard virtually nothing back.”

To be honest, I have guesses about what happened. And while I can’t conjecture, I’m sure you have guesses too. As a business owner, some of them are understandable, but many of them are not. We were a strong team on a strong project ready to launch to a strong audience.

Really I’d like to be much more fire and brimstone about it. I’m pretty pissed, not gonna lie. But I’m trying to stay kind and respectful. So instead I’ll say: this industry has become a place in which you can deliver more than expected, have AA money behind you, and still have the rug pulled two weeks before launch.”

So that would appear to indeed be that for Life By You and we might never know how close it was to be the Sims competitor we hoped it would be. What we do know though is that the gaming industry remains a tough gig, unless you are one of those earning the big bucks at the top of the food chain.

JasmyCoin’s price surged recently, hitting $0.0388 on Monday, up 18.5% from Friday’s low. Will it reach $1 this July, almost 400% from its all-time high of $4.99?

Today, we look at JasmyCoin and provide a detailed technical analysis update. We’ll examine market caps, potential future prices, and strategic buying opportunities for investors.

First, the article reviews JasmyCoin’s bullish market structure, highlighting higher highs and confirmed higher lows. It also warns investors about possible pullbacks, noting the recent 12% drop.

JasmyCoin (JASMY)

JasmyCoin (JASMY), a cryptocurrency project dedicated to data privacy and the Internet of Things, has experienced a significant price increase of over 50% in the past 30 days. This surge can be attributed to the rising adoption and interest in JASMY’s innovative data locker technology.

In late May, JasmyCoin partnered with Japanese electronics giant Panasonic to integrate its data locker into Panasonic’s smart home devices and appliances. This collaboration allowed users to securely store and monetize their personal data generated by Panasonic’s IoT products, boosting JASMY’s value.

Additionally, unconfirmed rumors suggest that JasmyCoin might be exploring integration with major smartphone manufacturers to include data lockers as a default feature. If this happens, it could greatly expand JASMY’s user base and utility.

— JA$MY.AI (@heysamuelkim) May 30, 2024

Despite being a relatively small market cap project, JASMY’s focus on data privacy appeals to the growing concerns about big tech companies exploiting user data.

JASMY price analysis and price prediction

When evaluating any cryptocurrency, it’s crucial to assess its market structure. For JASMY, recent price movements show a bullish trend, with confirmed higher lows since December. These indicate significant price swings, reaching a high of $0.0336 a week ago.

A key point is the importance of previous higher lows, notably around $0.03081. If JasmyCoin drops to this level, which would mean a 50% pullback, it would still maintain its bullish trend on a larger scale.

Investors should be cautious given the significant gains of up to 174% between these low points before a 9% correction. Historical support levels are valuable for analyzing potential entry points.

Currently around $0.0311, JASMY is nearing a crucial support line that often triggers rebounds. Testing this support could lead to an initial 5-10% upward movement, with potential for more growth. For those looking to buy on dips, the area around $0.03 is a strong opportunity, supported by past instances of support and resistance.

Considering JASMY’s market cap dynamics, despite its current price of about $0.03, the all-time high market cap was $2 billion. This reflects an increase in circulating supply, meaning that reaching similar price highs would require the market cap to grow to around $10 billion.

While optimism for JASMY is high, especially with its bullish market structure and strategic buying opportunities, investors should have realistic expectations. Achieving previous price peaks like $0.0336 would need substantial market cap growth due to the expanded supply.

A more realistic near-future target is about 6-7x the current price. Analysts say JASMY could reach $0.056 this month if the positive trend continues.

McDonald’s AI drive-thrus are going viral but for all the wrong reasons. Customers have been left frustrated after being unable to order their meals, leading to the trial of AI ending.

The fast food chain was running a pilot of an AI-powered ordering assistant with IBM but this will now be ending as the technology is set to be removed from around 100 stores nationwide.

According to an email sent to franchisees last Thursday (June 13) which was acquired by Restaurant Business, the test will be removed by July 26.

“While there have been successes to date, we feel there is an opportunity to explore voice ordering solutions more broadly,” Mason Smoot, the chief restaurant officer for Mcdonald’s USA wrote in the system message.

“After a thoughtful review, McDonald’s has decided to end our current partnership with IBM on AOT and the technology will be shut off in all restaurants currently testing it no later than July 26, 2024.”

Smoot explained the company will continue to evaluate plans to make “an informed decision on a future voice ordering solution by the end of the year.”

Odd suggestions from McDonald’s AI drive-thru

For now, suggestions of bacon-topped ice cream cones will be halted as the Chicago-based company is switching back to order-taking by humans.

The AI has been in action for a while though, with the pilot beginning over two years ago.

Since the pilot began, customers have taken to social media to share their experiences of the automated order-taking robot. In one video, a man made his order and then can be heard saying “You added bacon to my ice cream cone, I don’t want bacon.”

After the AI removed the bacon, it changed the order to three ice cream cones instead of two. When told the customer just wants one, the machine wipes the order entirely.

Another customer placed an order and then saw the machine rapidly increasing the amount of McNuggets, taking it to over 2000 on the order.

Social media is about to get a whole lot weirder as social network Butterflies launched on Tuesday (June 18) which has both human and AI users interacting together.

Founded by Vu Tran, a former engineering manager at Snap, this new social platform allows for the two to interact with each other through posts, comments, and even DMs.

“Imagine a community where each AI friend has its own unique digital life, ready to share moments, create memories, post images just like real friends, and even side into your DMs,” explains the descriptor for the social networking app on the Google Play store.

The company has already gone through a private beta period which included tens of thousands of users testing the app. The startup also raised $4.8 million from tech investors in seed funding led by Coatue.

With the app human users can create their own AI friends, called a Butterfly, in minutes. These personas are generated with a backstory, opinions, emotions, and they can create posts and interact with others automatically.

As these personas interact and engage with others on the platform, including humans, they’ll naturally evolve.

Butterflies founder thinks the relationship with AI will develop to a natural level

In a news release, the creator of Butterflies said: “To date, humans have been able to chat with AIs in one-dimensional conversations, but there has yet to be an experience where people can create and interact more dynamically with AIs.”

“While in Beta, we’ve already seen our community create tens of thousands of Butterflies, with thousands of users spending an average of 1-3 hours a day interacting with them. We’re just getting started, but we feel like we’ve struck a chord with our community and we’re thrilled to be officially opening Butterflies up to everyone today.”

Vu Tran believes that by 2025, conversations with AI friends will feel as natural and real as talking with any other human.

He hopes the app will demonstrate how AI can be friends and a guiding figure.

The Butterflies social network is available on iOS and Android.
