Gemini CEO Tyler Winklevoss and his twin brother Cameron donated $1 million worth of Bitcoin (BTC) each to Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.

The presumptive Republican nominee’s campaign recently started accepting cryptocurrency donations. In a posts on X, the Winklevoss brothers explained their support for Trump.

I just donated $1 million in bitcoin (15.47 BTC) to @realDonaldTrump and will be voting for him in November. Here’s why:

Tyler Winklevoss explained that the Biden administration has been hostile to crypto. He also highlighted that — while under his purview — United States government agencies were quite aggressive towards crypto firms:

The Biden Administration has openly declared war against crypto. It has weaponized multiple government agencies to bully, harass, and sue the good actors in our industry in an effort to destroy it.

On the other hand, Tyler Winklevoss claimed that presidential candidate Trump want to strengthen the crypto sector and businesses in general. He wrote:

President Donald J. Trump is the pro-Bitcoin, pro-crypto, and pro-business choice. This is not even remotely open for debate. […]

It’s time for the crypto army to send a message to Washington. That attacking us is political suicide. This is why I will be casting my vote for President Trump.

Who are the Winklevoss twins?

The Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler, are American entrepreneurs, investors, and former Olympic rowers. Born on August 21, 1981, in Southampton, New York, they gained fame for their involvement in the early stages of Facebook and their subsequent legal battle with Mark Zuckerberg, the company’s founder.

The twins attended Harvard University, where they met Zuckerberg. In 2004, they enlisted Zuckerberg to develop a social networking site called ConnectU, which they claimed he later used as the basis for Facebook.

Minecraft is going native on the PlayStation 5. Microsoft-owned Mojang announced on Thursday that PS5 owners will soon be getting a version to call their own, instead of playing the PS4 version through the console’s backward compatibility with that platform.

What does this mean? Generally speaking, native versions perform better than backward-compatible or emulated versions because they’re made for the hardware itself. “By developing a native version of Minecraft for PS5, we’ll be able to make the game run more effectively on the PS5’s hardware,” Mojang said in the post announcing the new version.

Bigger picture it means Mojang — again, a Microsoft-owned company — is genuinely platform agnostic when it comes to serving and maintaining the 13-year-old standard bearer of sandbox survival-types. Wherever gamers want to play Minecraft, they’ll put it there in the best possible shape.

For now, this is a “preview” version of Minecraft. That means PS5 owners of the (again, PS4) game can find the build by navigating to the settings menu and then choosing “preview.” Mojang noted that the preview includes the new Tricky Trials update. They’re previewing the PS5-native Minecraft before releasing it because they want to get feedback, particularly bug reports and other problems, from real-life users playing the game as they normally do.

Because it’s a preview version, multiplayer is limited to players on the same platform, in this case PS4 and PS5. The preview version of Minecraft for PlayStation 5 will not have access to the Minecraft Store, either. This FAQ on the official Minecraft page will answer other questions.

Funcom’s new MMO veers off from Herbert’s storyline when the alternate timeline that Jessica Atreides creates by choosing to give birth to a daughter instead of Paul, begins a cascading chain of events. Paul’s absence leads to a huge power vacuum into which players will venture, creating their own story.

So immediately that is going to be disliked by those loyal to the book, but it does let the devs create a war-torn version of Arrakis where you can forge your own path and become a major player in the control of Spice.

Funcom has been here before of course, with the hugely popular Conan MMO and we have a feeling it will put a lot of what it has learned there into action with Dune: Awakening many of its plans were spoken about in a 30-minute showcase which you can read all about on the website.

“Making the world feel seamless and connected has always been one of our goals on Dune: Awakening,” said Joel Bylos, Dune Awakening’s Creative Director. “We built this structure with the idea of making the game expandable, which is difficult with a single map. The idea with the overland map is that it allows us to just keep building the world and giving players new spaces to explore. Who knows what it will look like 5 years from now?”

Dune: Awakening has now entered a persistent Closed Beta phase ahead of its epic gameplay review at Gamescom in August.

The Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC hasn’t just brought new areas to discover, there’s a whole host of fresh weapons and armor sets to acquire. In true FromSoft fashion though, you will have to go hunting for them, since you’re given absolutely no markers to go off as a guide.

What we’ll be helping you with here is Milady, a new Light Greatsword that offers something slightly different to the usual greatswords you’ve been used to in the main game.

Where to find Milady in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

The Milady Light Greatsword can be found at a tower within Castle Ensis, which is fortunate since this POI is an easier one to get to upon starting the DLC.

If you haven’t made it here yet, however, here is where you need to go.

Starting at the Scorched Ruins, head north along the path laid out for you. After traveling for a little while you should be able to see a bridge to your northeast called Ellac Greatbridge.

Go over this bridge and carry on where you should be able to make out the Castle in front. We’d recommend getting the Castle Front Site of Grace here before continuing just in case.

Progress up the staircases until it opens up into a larger vista. Take an immediate left where a small set of stairs can be accessed. Climb these onto the portion of the castle.

Continue forward and climb the ladder that you see in front of you. This will take you up to the aforementioned tower.

Here, will be a chest which contains Milady. Open it and the weapon will be yours.

Where to find Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

Your first port of call for locating the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword is the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past.

If you haven’t found this place already, you’ll have to make it to the castle within Scadu Atlus. Once here, traverse through the castle and out through its entrance, and then through the gap in the mountain.

Upon exiting the gap, head west where you should be able to see a large structure with torches – this is the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past.

Enter the Forge and use the lever to open a pathway to continue. Once you locate a second lever after progressing, activate this once again, but instead of heading through, use it once more, and run to stand on top of the platform.

This will now elevate you to a level that you could not get to before, and ultimately to a forge which once interacted with, will gift you the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword!

This is the opposite bet from the Pass Line bet, and it begins by placing the chips on the Don’t Pass area of the craps table. With this method, you’ll win if the shooter rolls 2 or 3. If they roll 7 or 11 on a come out roll, your bet loses.

If any other number rolls, it becomes a point. Number 12 is the exception, as it results in a push, meaning no one wins or loses, and you’ll get your bet back. Unlike the previous bet, you’ll win if the shooter throws 7 before they establish a point (rolls the exact same number).

Craps Come Bet Strategy

You can also resort to craps come bet strategy when playing this exciting game. Come bet has the same house edge and payout odds as the Pass Line bet, but it is made by placing the chips above the Field area of the craps table.

This bet is made after the shooter establishes a point on a come out roll, and you win if they throw 7 or 11 on the next roll. If the shooter throws any other number, such as 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, this will become your personal point. This point, together with the original one, gives you a double chance of winning.

If the rolled numbers on the table are 2, 3, or 12, you lose. It’s worth noting that you cannot remove the Come or Pass Line bets but must wait for them to play out.

Don’t Come Craps Strategy

Don’t Come craps strategy is another bet you can place after the point has been established on a come out roll. It is similar to the Don’t Pass wager, as they both have the same odds and payouts. All you must do is put your chips on the Don’t Come bar of the table.

If 2 or 3 are thrown on the next roll, your bet pays out. Conversely, you’ll lose on a 7 or 11. If a shooter scores 12, this results in a push, and nobody wins.

Craps Odds Strategy

Craps Odds Strategy is an intermediate strategy that involves laying the odds, meaning that you must bet against the shooter and the players. This means you wager that the shooter will throw 7 before rolling a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. You must remember that this bet can be made only after a point has been established.

The great thing about this strategy is that there is no house edge because the odds of landing these numbers are statistically fair. However, the payouts are lower when laying the odds — 4 and 10 pay 2:1, 5 and 9 pay 3:2, and 6 and 8 pay 6:5.

Craps Press Strategy

This is another intermediate craps strategy, which is also known as the Press-and-Pull method. Craps Press Strategy means that you increase your bets while on a winning streak. The point of this bet is to earn significant amounts of money by using the winnings and investing the minimum funds.

This progression betting method implies that you add one unit to the bet every time you win. In other words, you alternate between pressing the place bet when the number wins and pulling your profits after the bet hits four times.

The legal sector is not safe from the influence of artificial intelligence. An American attorney and legal blogger believes Claude AI can adjudicate complex legal cases and, in theory, even act as a Supreme Court Justice.

Adam Unikowsky, an award-winning attorney who was listed on Lawdragon’s list of ‘500 Leading Litigators in America’ for 2024, made this bold statement in his legal newsletter on Substack.

“Claude is fully capable of acting as a Supreme Court Justice right now. When used as a law clerk, Claude is easily as insightful and accurate as human clerks, while towering over humans in efficiency,” he writes.

He came to this conclusion by downloading the briefs in every Supreme Court merits case that has been decided so far this Term, then inputting them into Claude 3 Opus before asking a few follow-up questions.

This AI tool is an offering from Anthropic who released the Claude 3 model family in March. At the time, this had beat previous model benchmarks. Now, though, the company has one-upped itself after launching Claude 3.5 Sonnet which was released today (Friday, June 21).

How did the legal expert assess Claude AI’s capabilities in law

The AI tool was first asked to adjudicate the cases and the responses showed they were correctly decided consistently.

“When it gets the case ‘wrong’ – meaning, decides it differently from how the Supreme Court decided it – its disposition is invariably reasonable.”

Of the 37 merits cases that the AI analyzed, it was found to have decided 27 in the same way the Supreme Court did. Unikowsky says he was frequently “more persuaded by Claude’s analysis” in the other 10 that it got wrong.

After running the tool through more work and asking it to adjudicate, the attorney found that Claude is “clearly capable of adjudicating complex cases.”

He even goes one further and places the chatbot assistant’s answers as being “at or above the level of a human Supreme Court clerk.

“Not only is Claude able to make sensible recommendations and draft judicial opinions, but Claude effortlessly does things like generate novel legal standards and spot methodological errors in expert testimony.”

“Claude does occasionally make mistakes, but humans do too,” argues Unikowsky.

How to find the Blade of Mercy Talisman

The phrase here is ‘hiding in plain sight’. Sometimes it’s easy to miss an obvious object or the chest that contains it, and that is the case with the Blade of Mercy Talisman.

To get your hands on it you need to head to the top of the Scorched Ruins by working your way through the Cathedral. Make sure you keep heading up any stairs you find until you get to the rooftop.

At the top of the roof, when you can go no further you will find some closed doors. Let’s open those for starters.

Inside here you will find a chest containing the Blade of Mercy Talisman. Winner.

If you have already unlocked the Scorched Ruins but did not think to ho and check out the roof you can fast-travel back to it and start climbing.

If you have no idea what we are talking about and have never heard of the Scorched Ruins you need to head east from where you start your Shadow of the Erdtree adventure and you will soon stumble across them.

A quick check of the location on the map above will help you out if you have zero sense of direction, just look for the building and head that way. There are plenty of other things to grab while you are there but don’t forget this important Talisman before you leave.
