Experts predict a big surge for Pepe (PEPE), leading many investors to believe now is the best time to buy in.

The cryptocurrency market is on the rise. Market volume has jumped by 62%, and the Fear and Greed Index is at 63, showing growing investor confidence.

Several factors drive this optimism. BlackRock recently acquired 11,000 Bitcoins, and with Bitcoin valued at $68,000, market sentiment has improved significantly.

Donald Trump’s recent endorsement of Bitcoin at the Nashville conference, where he encouraged investors to hold onto their crypto, has added to the excitement.

With Ethereum trading at $3,300 and more positive news expected, the current market climate offers great opportunities for crypto enthusiasts.

This bullish trend will also boost meme coins, including those currently on presale like Pepe Unchained.

PEPE price analysis

Pepe stands out among meme coins, currently trending at number three with a market cap of $4.78 billion. It has recently seen a 3% drop in the last 24 hours, but forecasts for the upcoming weeks look promising.

This month, Pepe has gained 3%, and experts predict potential increases of 15-30% soon. Recent data shows a 3% decline in the past day and a slight 10% decrease over the week. However, Pepe has surged an impressive 700% over the past year.

Although the token hasn’t reached its previous all-time highs, the current pattern suggests a significant run could be near. Technical analysis shows a “strong buy” signal, indicating a potentially lucrative investment opportunity.

Pepe Token’s popularity is evident, ranking among the top coins on CoinMarketCap. Chart patterns reveal typical dips and pumps, suggesting another upward movement might be imminent. Technical indicators support this with a “strong buy” recommendation, making this an ideal time to invest.

PEPE price prediction

This analysis examines Pepe’s price behavior to identify key levels and predict potential movements. We will explore the overall market structure, review recent price action, and set potential targets for the next six to twelve months based on expected market cap.

The weekly timeframe shows a critical low in September 2023, providing foundational support for the current bullish market structure. The presence of higher lows since July 1st and the price’s movement within an upward-sloping channel reinforce this bullish sentiment.

A break below key support levels could indicate a potential trend reversal. Watch for resistance at the all-time high. Short-term price action displays a ranging pattern, which is viewed positively in the current market context.

A breakout from this range, supported by increased trading volume as shown by the 4-Hour and Daily ATR bands, might signal significant upward movement. Conversely, a drop in these volume indicators could suggest resistance.

Looking ahead, potential targets for a bull market include: initially reclaiming the all-time high at $0.00001718, which aligns with a $7 billion market cap. Next, reaching a Fibonacci extension level that corresponds to a $14 billion market cap, potentially doubling the current value.

A more ambitious target of around a $23 billion market cap is possible, given Pepe’s strong performance since its launch. For comparison, Shiba Inu and Dogecoin currently have market capitalizations of $10 billion and $19 billion, respectively.

Pepe Unchained (PEPU) – Alternative investment opportunity

A new meme coin is gaining attention as the Pepe Unchained presale raises an impressive $6.5 million. Is $PEPU the new PEPE? Pepe Unchained (PEPU) has achieved another major milestone in its presale, reaching millions and building strong momentum to close July with excitement.

— Pepe Unchained (@pepe_unchained) July 30, 2024

Right now, you can buy $PEPU for just $0.0088044 per token, but this price will increase in less than 2 days when the next stage begins. You can purchase using ETH, USDT, BNB, or a credit/debit card. After the presale ends, you can claim your tokens by reconnecting the same crypto wallet you used to buy them.

Pepe Unchained isn’t just another meme coin. The developers plan to build a Layer-2 network focused on meme coins. Think of it as a fast lane for all those dog and cat-themed coins on the Ethereum blockchain.

Pepe Unchained’s whitepaper says it will be 100x faster than Ethereum and offer much lower fees for traders. This means you could swap your PEPU tokens for SHIB without losing a lot of your profits to gas fees.

In addition to the Layer-2 network, there will be a “double staking” feature offering potential yields of up to 295% per year. Over 541 million PEPU tokens are already locked in staking, which is more than most staking coins.

All of this comes with a fun Pepe-style design that should attract meme coin investors. It will be interesting to see how this project continues to develop and attract interest as it moves towards its official launch and exchange listings.

Missing Spotify’s lyrics? They’re coming back for free users again, with no restrictions

The general gist was that Spotify pulled free lyrics so it could add them to its additional $5 HiFi tier, so maybe that plan’s scrapped…

It was one of the biggest music streaming stories of 2024. After launching its popular real-time lyrics feature in 2020, the big green streaming machine unceremoniously stuck them behind a paywall in May 2024 (having trialed an “Enjoy lyrics on Premium” idea to certain subscribers in September 2023).

And to put it mildly, users weren’t happy.

In a remarkable about-turn one can’t help likening to Sonos finally apologizing for its May 7 app update, Spotify has now reinstated lyrics to its free, ad-supported tier a mere two months after taking them away.

In a statement reported by Digital Music News, Spotify said of the change: “At Spotify, we’re always testing and iterating. This means the availability of our features can vary across tiers and between markets and devices. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be expanding lyrics availability for Spotify Free users so more people can enjoy viewing more lyrics, globally”.

A change would do you good…

The thing is, we assumed Spotify was taking lyrics – along with some of its other, most-loved features – to package them up and present them in a rumored incoming $5 (or £5; around AU$6) HiFi add-on tier (which I predicted would be a hit, even when Apple Music offers hi-res music within its basic tier). So, the move to reinstate them suggests that this plan has been tested and isn’t happening for the time being, even though Spotify CEO Daniel Ek confirmed Supremium is coming (at some point) just last week.

When Spotify implemented the no-free-lyrics change in May, it offered free users up to three lyric lookups per month. As reported by Digital Music News, Spotify won’t disclose precisely how many lyrics lookups free users now receive, but the in-app experience has changed slightly. When tapping on the lyrics preview, you now get a pop-up ad with the option to dismiss. After dismissing it, users can once again see the real-time lyrics scrolling as the track progresses.

It seems Spotify’s new tactic for the time being is simply to showcase banner ads before displaying the lyrics to free users. Although it still doesn’t offer hi-res audio, it remains one of the best music streaming sites owing to its sociable nature, huge catalogue of tracks, and ease of use.

The long-awaited Xbox Mobile Store could be up and running at any moment, with a new website launched to share the news.

While fans have been expecting a mobile store for some time now, July has been the rumored month for this to come to fruition.

The Xbox president Sarah Bond even announced that it would be launching at some point in July 2024 back in May.

At the start of the final week of the month, on Monday (July 29), an X user named ‘Klobrille’ spotted the new website and posted the link writing: “The Xbox Mobile Store is saying ‘Coming Soon.’ Looks like it could be coming to Xbox Insiders first.”’

— Klobrille (@klobrille) July 29, 2024

The website appears like a holding page, with ‘Coming Soon’ as the headline. Below that, a short blurb reads:

“Thank you for participating in the Xbox Insiders program. As part of our testing process, you have been placed in a holdback group and currently do not have access to this feature.

“Your support is invaluable to us, and we ask for your patience as we prepare for the public release. Stay connected with Xbox for further updates.”

What is the Xbox Mobile Store?

The Xbox Mobile Store aims to rival competitors like Apple and Google who already have a mobile store.

The full details haven’t yet been shared, but it’s believed it’ll first start with first-party games like Candy Crush and Minecraft. The store will then expand to support other relevant partners.

How to access the Xbox Mobile Store

The Xbox Mobile Store will not be available in an app format, to begin with, but instead can be accessed through the internet.

The president shared these details in May, saying it will provide an alternative to Apple and Google storefronts.

“We’re doing that because that really allows us to have it be an experience that’s accessible across all devices, all countries, no matter what, independent of the policies of closed ecosystem stores, and then we’re gonna extend from there,” said Bond.

Google Maps just got a wild AR time-travel feature that shows you historic landmarks as they were

In another Olympic Games tie-in, Google Maps has announced interactive augmented reality features.

The latest update to Google Maps is giving users a more immersive experience thanks to the magic of augmented reality (AR) – and in honor of the 2024 Olympics, these features are focusing on Paris first.

As explained in a blog post, certain well-known landmarks on Google Maps – including the Eiffel Tower in the French capital – now show an AR experience button when you search for them on the map.

Tap this, and you can explore the landmark through time by pointing your phone at it. With the Eiffel Tower, for example, you’re able to see original architectural concepts for the structure that ended up never being built.

What’s more, you can point your phone at the banks of the Seine to see temporary structures that were erected for the Exposition Universelle World Fair in 1900. This is a great example of how augmented reality can be used very effectively.

More coming soon

Look out for the AR experience button (Image credit: Google)

Google says that similar experiences are coming to more Parisian landmarks soon, including Notre-Dame Cathedral. You’ll also be able to see the Bastille Saint-Antoine and the Palais des Tuileries as they were before their demolition.

The new experiences have been developed in partnership with Google Arts & Culture and gaming studio Ubisoft, and it’s one of several new initiatives Google has introduced in its apps to tie in with the Olympic Games.

There’s no specific mention in Google’s blog post of these interactive experiences rolling out beyond the borders of the French capital, but we are told to “be on the lookout for more content in the future” – which suggests this is just the start.

We usually don’t have to wait too long for a new feature to pop up in Google Maps, though some of them take a while to appear everywhere: the ability to report incidents on the road has only just been added to Google Maps on CarPlay.

Automation plans for planes are ‘dangerous gamble,’ EU pilots warn

A push for single-pilot planes is a “dangerous gamble,” a leading aviation union has warned. The European Cockpit Association (ECA) sounded the alarm over plans to automate commercial flights. Aircraft makers want software to support a new single-pilot model. The second pilot can then rest while their colleague stays at the controls. The EU Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is now evaluating the proposals.
